Client Service Agreement Policy

Purpose

The purpose of our Client Service Agreement Policy is to ensure your comprehensive understanding of our services and policies. This document has been diligently prepared to promote transparency and to provide you with the information you require to make well-informed decisions and have absolute confidence in our services. We’re looking forward to a great partnership and are here to help with any questions or additional information you might need. We aim to provide you, our valued client, with a clear understanding of the potential risks associated with our services.

Payment and Vehicle Release Policy

Payment must be received in full prior to vehicle release. All invoices must be paid before your vehicle will be returned to you. Auto Sport Detailing accepts cash, check, and major credit cards as forms of payment. In the event of non-payment, Auto Sport Detailing reserves the right to retain possession of the vehicle until full payment is received. The client acknowledges that storage fees may apply for vehicles not retrieved within 24 hours of service completion due to non-payment. Auto Sport Detailing is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by delayed vehicle pickup due to unpaid invoices.

Ceramic Coating

Auto Sport Detailing does not assume responsibility for the longevity and durability of ceramic coating. While general guidelines indicate claims of durability and longevity, the actual lifespan of the coating depends on various factors, including vehicle storage, usage, and maintenance. To optimize the coating’s performance, it is vital to adhere to routine washing and annual maintenance detailing. These practices play a significant role in preserving the coating’s protective qualities, ensuring the best possible outcome for your vehicle.

Estimations

Please be aware that the estimate we provide is not a definitive pricing guarantee. It is calculated based on the available information and the vehicle’s condition during the initial consultation. During your scheduled appointment, if we find that the vehicle’s condition differs from the initial assessment, additional labor, services, or parts may be necessary, potentially affecting the final cost and service timeline.

Interior Detailing – Stain Removal

It is important to know that complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed due to various factors. Some stains may prove challenging or permanent. Please also be aware that in some cases, additional labor may be necessary during the stain removal process, possibly incurring extra charges.

Items Left in Vehicle

Our team is committed to trustworthiness and professionalism in all our services. However, we cannot be held responsible for any items left in your vehicle during our service. Although we exercise the utmost care, unforeseen events can happen, and we cannot guarantee the replacement or retrieval of lost or stolen items. To minimize any potential risks, we recommend removing valuable items from your vehicle before service.

Mechanical Failures

While we are committed to delivering exceptional service, it is important to note that we are not liable for mechanical failures beyond our control. This includes instances where such failures occur during the operation of your vehicle by our team, while your vehicle is on our premises, or during storage at our location. We take every precaution to ensure your vehicle’s safety, but unforeseen mechanical issues can arise. We advise ensuring your vehicle is in good mechanical condition before using our services.

Mold, Water, and Flood Damage Services

Our mold, water, and flood damage services are designed to restore your vehicle to the best possible condition through comprehensive cleaning and repairs. All vehicles undergoing water damage repairs are water-tested before being returned to the client. If the vehicle continues to leak after the initial repair, Auto Sport Detailing will only assume responsibility for additional repair costs if the leak originates from the same location as the previous repair. Any new or unrelated leaks will be considered a separate issue and will require a new service agreement.

For mold-affected vehicles, we perform an ozone treatment to eliminate bacteria and mold spores effectively. However, it is important to understand that mold may reappear if the underlying cause, such as unresolved water leaks or improper storage, is not addressed. Auto Sport Detailing cannot be held responsible for the reoccurrence of mold due to causes outside the scope of our original repairs or cleaning. Any additional mold remediation services required due to such circumstances will incur separate charges. While our mold remediation service includes thorough cleaning and ozone treatment, we do not guarantee that mold will not return if the root cause remains unresolved or if the vehicle is exposed to new conditions conducive to mold growth.

Paint Correction

Our paint correction process holds the potential for certain risks, including the development of thinner regions resulting from polishing, which may accelerate the onset of clear coat failure. Auto Sport Detailing cannot be held responsible for paint thinning or clear coat or base coat paint failure.

Paint Protection Film Installation & Removal

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is one of the most effective ways to protect your vehicle’s paintwork from road debris, minor scratches, and chips. It acts as a strong defensive layer, preserving the original paint and maintaining the vehicle’s aesthetics. However, it is crucial to understand that the installation and removal of PPF carry inherent risks. During these processes, there is a possibility of paint peeling, especially if the existing paintwork is not in optimal condition. This is often due to factors beyond our control such as the age of the paint, previous incidents of paint repair, or poor-quality paint jobs. Auto Sport Detailing cannot be held responsible for any paint peeling or lifting that may occur during or after the installation or removal of PPF, regardless of the reasons. While we have the utmost confidence in our technicians, paint protection film removal involves various variables, and therefore, we cannot guarantee a 100% success rate.

Paint Staining

It is essential to be aware that deeply ingrained water and chemical stains may reappear, a risk linked to the chemical composition and performance characteristics of automotive paint. Auto Sport Detailing cannot be held responsible for the recurrence of water or chemical staining.

Power Washing

Please be aware that we utilize a power washer during our initial detailing preparation. It is important to note that loose or unstable paint may be susceptible to chipping or peeling during the process. It is important to note that power washing poorly reconditioned wheels may result in the failure of the powder coating or an alteration in their appearance. We regretfully cannot assume responsibility for any further paint damage in such cases. Prior to services, we recommend addressing any loose or unstable paint areas to minimize the risk of such occurrences.

Pre-Existing Vehicle Damage

Any pre-existing dents, damage, or mechanical repairs on your vehicle will be noted during service. Auto Sport Detailing cannot be held responsible for any previous damage or repairs as they fall outside the scope of our detailing services.

Recording

Auto Sport Detailing reserves the right to record the exterior and interior of vehicles, which may include the recording of personal items. This recording process is a requirement for liability claims. We understand the importance of safeguarding both your vehicle and our services. Rest assured that these recordings are exclusively used for the purpose of documenting the condition of your vehicle before and after service, ensuring transparency and accountability in the event of any liability claims.

Tesla Recording

Our top priority is maintaining confidentiality, privacy, and safety for both our valued clients and dedicated employees, all while safeguarding proprietary information. To help us in this effort, we kindly request that you disable your vehicle’s Sentry Mode. We greatly value your understanding and cooperation.

Tint Services

Auto Sport Detailing provides professional tinting services customized to meet your specific preferences. It is important to note that we are not responsible for determining the percentage of tint applied to your vehicle or ensuring compliance with California state tint laws. As the client, it is your responsibility to research and select a tint level that adheres to all applicable legal requirements. By authorizing and selecting a specific tint percentage, you accept full responsibility for any legal consequences, including fines or citations, resulting from non-compliant tinting. Auto Sport Detailing cannot be held liable for any legal actions or penalties related to your tint selection.

Additionally, please be aware that tinted windows may reduce visibility in certain conditions, such as driving at night or in the rain, potentially increasing the risk of accidents. It is essential to consider these factors when selecting your tint level, as Auto Sport Detailing is not liable for any incidents or accidents resulting from reduced visibility caused by window tinting.

While we provide a limited warranty on our tint installations for issues such as bubbling, peeling, or discoloration within the specified warranty period, this warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, accidents, or other external factors. For optimal results and durability, please adhere to all recommended care guidelines for tinted windows.

Unstable Paint

Auto Sport Detailing would like to make it clear that we are not liable for any issues related to unstable paint during our detailing process. This includes clear coat or base coat paint failure. Our responsibility does not extend to loose or unstable paint at any point in our services, and we are not responsible for the costs associated with repairing such paint. We recommend addressing any loose or unstable paint concerns prior to using our services to avoid any possible complications.

Vehicle Operation

By choosing our services, you hereby authorize our team to drive and operate your vehicle as necessary during the course of service. This authorization includes the operation of your vehicle, which may involve off-premises driving and operation. We assure you that our team will exercise the utmost care and professionalism when handling your vehicle. If you have any concerns or specific instructions related to the operation of your vehicle, please do not hesitate to communicate them with us.

Wheel Reconditioning

Our vehicle wheel refinishing process involves a comprehensive approach to rejuvenate your wheels. Initially, we remove the wheels at our location, transporting them to a specialized reconditioning facility for thorough repair and refinishing. Tires are meticulously dismounted and remounted for precise balance. Although we aim for factory-matching finishes, slight variations may occur. To expedite the process, wheels are powder coated, which may result in minimal voids on the wheel lip’s backside, though these remain unseen once reinstalled. The refurbished wheels return to us and are remounted to factory specifications. This detailed procedure ensures both the aesthetics and performance of your wheels are restored.

Acknowledgement

We genuinely appreciate your understanding and agreement regarding the disclaimers mentioned above, covering various aspects of our services. Your choice of our services reflects your acknowledgment of inherent risks and your willingness to accept potential challenges. Our dedicated team always exercises the utmost care, but please note that we cannot guarantee the complete elimination of all mentioned issues. Auto Sport Detailing is not responsible for certain outcomes or recurring problems. By signing this document, you confirm your understanding and consent to proceed with services, acknowledging the associated risks. Your trust and cooperation are invaluable, and we look forward to serving you with the highest standards of service and care.
